Cancellation Policy
Please be aware that appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will incur a penalty charge of 50% of the agreed fee. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable and will incur a 100% payment penalty. Appointments may be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance of appointment without incurring a penalty charge, via my bookings page. Please be advised that if you cancel your appointment rather than rescheduling because there are no available appointments within 3 months, the penalty charges above will apply.
Waiting List
If you opt to be added to our waiting list and subsequently get offered short-notice cancellation appointments, please be aware that these will be offered on a first come first served basis to the next 3 individuals on the list. It is advised to confirm waitlist appointments as soon as you can via the bookings link emailed to you.
Payment
Once you have submitted a referral you will be directed to the Cocoon bookings page where you can book an available consultation and/or you can opt to be placed on our waitlist to be informed of any cancelations. When you have confirmed a booking, by selecting a day and time that suits you, you will be re-directed to the payment page. Once payment is confirmed your appointment is secured. Payment must be made within 24hrs of booking (or can be made via electronic or in-person payment for short notice/waitlist appointments.
Return of Supporting Information
Please be advised that supporting documentation (referral forms, screening questionnaires, prior reports etc.) must be returned or submitted to Cocoon Clinical Psychology via webpage upload, email or post, within the agreed timeframe (min 48hrs prior to appointment). If documentation has not been received the appointment most likely cannot go ahead and a cancellation penalty charge will apply as above for late cancellations.
Right to Refuse Assessment and/or Intervention
Please be advised that Cocoon Clinical Psychology reserves the right to refuse services under certain circumstances in line with clinical and best practice guidelines. Cocoon Clinical Psychology does not offer services to those under the care of another similar or conflicting service, such as a psychiatrist, community mental health team, addiction services or concurrent public services who are investigating or evaluating the same presenting issues.
The terms and conditions upheld by Cocoon Clinical Psychology may be changed and updated from time to time in line with best practice. Please refer to the latest version HERE for any purposes of reflection or otherwise.
